THE CAMP SITE ENVIRONMENT

This year's camp will be held at the Wylie Woods Presbyterian Conference Center, which is a mountainous wilderness area and will get hot in the daytime and cool at night so dress appropriately. Please take into account that campers will be engaging in some strenuous physical activity, so bring suitable clothing. Be prepared! Please bring as little as possible. We recommend 1-2 items, not including your sleeping bag. LABEL ALL YOUR LUGGAGE CLEARLY, as they will be unloaded by counselors. ALL BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED at the bus pickup site and unsuitable items will be confiscated or handed over to parents/guardians (so don't bring them!)

WHAT TO BRING

**BRING THE LODESTONE ADVENTURES INC. LIABILITY RELEASE FORM!** This is included in this second mailing and is required for your participation on the Ropes Course.
DO NOT MAIL IT! Please bring it to the bus stop, SIGNED!

(And for those that didn't mail in the first mailing release form. Please bring that first mailing release form to the bus stop as well. )

If you are susceptible to motion sickness, bring Dramamineã or other motion sickness pills for the bus ride (about 2 hours each way).

Please eat lunch either before the bus stop or bring with you on the bus.

Comfortable clothes for activities Warm clothes for night (layered clothing is recommend for rope courses) Jeans in addition to shorts Good walking shoes/hiking boots *note* closed toe shoes are required for rope courses Slippers for the shower Clothes to the dance

Sleeping Bag Pillow Flashlight Bug Repellant Sunscreen Water Bottle (1L recommended) Towel for shower Personal toiletries Writing tools (pen or pencil)

Lodestone Adventures, who will be providing services for our rope course program recommends bringing:

• Hat or sunvisor
• Tote bag/day pack for belongings

If you have medication, bring it to staff at the bus stop. They will hold it for you for the duration of camp.

WHAT NOT TO BRING

• Anything of value that might be stolen (especially personal electronic devices).
• Cigarettes/lighters. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED AT CAMP.
• The following will be confiscated and held for the duration of camp: Cell phones, pagers, personal radios/CD/tape players, and electronic devices.
• The following will result in ejection from camp, from which your parents will have to pick you up: Drugs, alcohol, weapons, knives, fireworks.
